The movie “Maigret in Montmartre” – a classic detective story by Georges Simenon. Commissioner Maigret again had to deal with the intricate crime and, having excluded from the field of view all the facts that did not relate to the given case, to find the real criminal. In the movie there are many characters and scenes, which often lead the viewer on a false track, because all the suspects had their own motives for committing a crime. The investigation is conducted slowly, the commissioner scrupulously and meticulously collects facts, compares them, searches for the missing elements. The method of Commissioner Maigret worked in this investigation and helped to avoid mistakes.

The hero of the film “Wind River” is in deep depression. Every day of his new life he went through one scenario, until the man found the body of the murdered girl. The FBI, who considered this case not important, entrusted it to a young and inexperienced Jane Banner. But arriving at the place the girl realized that it is not possible to move alone along such a large territory, on which, moreover, wild animals are found. She needs a guide, and for this role the unsociable connoisseur of Indian trails Ranger Cory Lambert is suited. Together they go into the back of the reservation in search of an unknown killer.
