Commissioner Maigret again had to deal with the intricate crime and, having excluded from the field of view all the facts that did not relate to the given case, to find the real criminal. In the movie there are many characters and scenes, which often lead the viewer on a false track, because all the suspects had their own motives for committing a crime. The investigation is conducted slowly, the commissioner scrupulously and meticulously collects facts, compares them, searches for the missing elements. The method of Commissioner Maigret worked in this investigation and helped to avoid mistakes.
