The movie “Papillon” is based on the biographical novel of the same name of the former prisoner, but is not a decent film adaptation. The young thief, Henri Charriere meets with a beautiful woman and gets a good income from his work – theft in Paris of the early 30s of the twentieth century. But overnight, everything changes: he is accused of killing a pimp, sentenced to life imprisonment. The movie “A Prayer Before Dawn” will tell the true story of William Moore. It is known, he is a real person. He lives, or rather, burns life in Thailand: underground Muay Thai fights, liters of alcohol, local drug trafficking. The end comes when Billy is arrested and sent to the colony.
