The movie “The Wonder Wheel” takes us to the 50s on the Coney Island, where Americans spend time on the beaches, sunbathe in the hot sun, ride carousels, fish, rejoice that the war is over and all the soldiers returned home. The summer atmosphere of the light post-war era is shown through the prism of an unusual dull visual picture, when everyday life seems beautiful and easy, but it was not there, because it is just a masterfully executed illusion of a famous director who invited the main actors, as always.

The movie “The Post” tells about a secret dossier, which collected a little bit about the turbulent activity of Americans in Vietnam. Not about war crimes, but about the fact that they fought several years in vain, when the government knew that it was impossible to defeat the Vietnamese. Dr. Alice Arnolds is a doctor-somnologist, she is engaged in the prevention and treatment of sleep disorders. Such problems are familiar to her. Now Sarah and Charles are most afraid of their son Daniel, he has strong convulsions, attacks of suffocation. They are also worried about Emily’s condition, the girl, like her parents, wanders around the house at night in a somnambulistic condition and can pick up a sharp object. Trying to help his patients, Alice comes to the conclusion that standard methods of treatment are powerless here. Morgans became victims of the night demon. To save the unfortunate family from the otherworldly evil, Alice will have to face her own fears.

Alberto Giacometti promises a young American journalist, James Lord, to write his portrait in one day. Actually, an hour and a half tells how the portrait … was not written for 1 day, neither for 7, nor for 15 days. It would seem that before us there is the torment of creativity, the failures of a prefectionalist who is constantly unhappy with the result, but the personality of Giacometti himself is so eccentric, and his journalist-model is so pleasant in all respects.

Long ago, in prehistoric times, a meteorite fell near Manchester. The Cro-Magnons who were close to the place of the incident found that it was possible to play football with a round thing from outer space, and live in a vast funnel formed as a result of its contact with the earth’s surface. Years passed, centuries passed by. The funnel turned into a paradise oasis in the middle of a stony desert, populated by mutants, and the ancient art of kicking the sphere was forgotten. Descendants of the ancestors of football in the cartoon “Early Man” shaved by beetles, hunted rabbits – fun and carefree spent time in the Stone Age. While their cozy green island was not occupied by representatives of the empire from the Bronze Age. And to return the captured territory back it is possible only in one way – having beaten “Real” which the effective manager Lord Nooth.
