Officers and privates in the US Army live by their own rules and regulations. For them, a charter and a code are all. They are obliged to obey strict laws, observe subordination and unquestioningly obey orders. But, like any other, the army system is not perfect. People in uniform also commit crimes, killings, robberies or simply violate the charter. A single code provides equal rights to both defense and prosecution. This is a rule that is strictly followed by both parties. The outcome of the trial depends only on the professionalism of its participants.
