The new movie “Colette” will tell about the difficult women’s share and the difficult history of the struggle of the fair sex for their rights. The movie retells the twists and turns of the French writer Sidonie-Gabriel Colette, who, due to her youth and inexperience, married the venerable Parisian critic and writer Henri-Gautier Villars, who turned out to be a complete nonentity – both in human and professional terms. Seeing the disappointment of his wife and recognizing her longing for her native rural Burgundy, the enterprising scribbler turns this in his favor.

Early 1960s, New York. Tony Vallelongi, who worked as a bouncer in the club, remained without work for a while. You have to pay for the apartment, and you will not leave the children hungry, so the hero cannot afford to sit idle. Here the phone call is very opportunely: a certain doctor Shirley really needs a driver, will not Tony come for an interview? And so he in a suit declares to the apartment above Carnegie Hall, where it turns out that Dr. Shirley is no doctor, but a virtuoso pianist with a couple of degrees, and, most importantly, he is black. Don Shirley needs not just a driver, but a man who can protect him under any circumstances and get him out of any problems, since he is going to go on a tour to the southern states for two months.

“Boy Erased” is an autobiographical book of the journalist Garrard Conley, transferred to the screen. He was born to a religious family, his father was a Baptist pastor, so when the student realized that in his romantic dreams he was dreaming about boys and not girls, the pastors’ council and parents decided to send him for conversion therapy. Just at the period from the life when Conley was undergoing therapy, this film fixes its attention. This movie touches on another equally painful topic, the theme of parents and children, the first attempts to do the best, ignoring the desires and needs of the second.

The series “Mrs. Wilson” tells the audience about the fate of the young woman Alison, who learns about the secret past of her husband after his death. As it turned out, he was a spy. The plot focuses on the time period from the forties to the mid-sixties, and London is the location for action. The family life of Alison and Alec seems ideal, but soon the main character learns about her husband a lot of interesting facts from the past that somehow interfere with life in the present. Information that she was not the only wife of Alec would be a big daring for a woman.
